Memories of

The University of kansas choirs

As the voices coalesced into a single entity and bounced off the walls - they coursed through me and stirred an emotional beast I will never be able to lay to rest again.

By far the most magical, spiritual, and transformative experience in my life thus far, the KU Choirs caressed my soul and brought me immense peace. Leaving them behind will always be one of the most painful goodbyes I will ever endure.

Here are a few recordings I garnered from the time I spent in that haven. I hope you enjoy them.

The KU Men's Glee, with whom I sang my sophomore and junior years, had the pleasure of singing the national anthem at the hottest sporting events of the 2014-2015 season.

(Below) Getting ready to sing for the KC Royals at the Kauffman Stadium - this was the game against the Minnesota twins that catapulted the Royals into the playoffs, and the year they would go on to win the World Series after 30 years.

A glimpse at the sheer number of voices singing that final hymn (When I Survey the Wondrous Cross) - we were joined by a few choirs from a several local high schools.
