TUTORING
Rewarding as it was to pursue my goals as a musician, the more scientifically-inclined part of me began to feel something missing. I knew I didn't want to work as a researcher (just yet) but the desire to be more involved with physics and mathematics was brimming over.
My wife had been working as a private tutor for some time and during the pandemic she suddenly found herself with more students than she could teach on her own. And thus it was that freelance tutoring fell into my lap. I took over helping her physics students - primarily to ease her load - and a month later I realized I had chanced upon a gem.
Teaching high-school and college students fueled my latent passion for the sciences and also gave me an opportunity to keep up with what's new in these fields of my interest. I began to feel intoxicated by the success of my students and by the challenge of being able to answer the questions they threw at me.
Also, teaching the subjects I had spent my college years trying to woo gave me a new and clearer understanding than I ever believed possible in my twenties.
All in all, four years and many students later, I continue to teach - full time now - and I think I will for a while yet.

If you are a prospective client, unless you were sent here by someone who's already worked with me, you'll probably be wanting proof of my credentials. Here are the things my students and their parents have had to say about me.

A LESSON WITH ME
I've put together a series of pictures from my lessons to showcase a few things.
1. My teaching style - utilizing the tools provided by Zoom and the Mac environment.
2. The detail with which I delve into the problems at hand.
3. The variety of subjects I have taught.
Take a look around!
